"Survivor: World's Apart" (7 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2): The 30th season begins with a three-tribe competition — white collar vs. blue collar vs. new collar — and there's a Utahn among the contestants.

Sierra Dawn Thomas of Roy is a member of the blue-collar tribe. She's athletic and smart. And sort of entertaining in a way she wouldn't have chosen in the 90-minute premiere.

I won't give away too much here, but Thomas calls a couple of her tribesmates liars. Behind their backs, of course. Because this is "Survivor."

They were not, however, lying.
