After seven seasons and 151 episodes, tonight is the end for "The Mentalist" (7 and 8 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2).
In the first episode, Patrick Jane (Simon Baker) agrees to be the bait to draw out a serial killer. In the second episode, Teresa Lisbon (Robin Tunney) accepts Jane's surprise marriage proposal, but a killer's quest for revenge may cost them the happy ending they've worked so hard to achieve in the series finale.
I'm thinking things will work out. It would pretty much suck to disappoint the show's fans, wouldn't it?
