Apple has called the tech start-ups of several Utahns "inspiring." The apps, including one to help kids with speech and another for scanning bar codes, have been heralded for their creativity and usefulness.

On Thursday at 12:15 p.m., University of Utah professor Matt Stoker and app developer Garrett Gee join host Tony Semerad to discuss the apps and how Utahns are adding to the world of technology.
