Cities are lining up to ask voters for a quarter-cent sales tax hike to pay for local roads and mass transit. But with the upcoming gas tax hike starting Jan. 1, how much is too much for roads?

On Monday at 12:15 p.m., Utah Department of Transportation executive director Carlos Braceras, Billy Hesterman of the Utah Taxpayers Association, Steven Downs of Orem city and Abby Albrecht of the Utah Transportation Coalition join Jennifer Napier-Pearce to talk about the gas tax, local-option tax and how the measures could affect taxpayers.
