Rocky Mountain Power wants residents who have installed solar panels to pay a fee to help maintain the power grid, but that doesn't sit well with solar advocates.

On Thursday at 12:15 p.m., RMP spokesman Dave Eskelsen and Stan Holmes of Utah Citizens Advocating Renewable Energy (UCARE) join Jennifer Napier-Pearce to talk about "net metering" and how the state is weighing the costs and benefits of rooftop solar.
