Despite an overhaul of the Veterans Affairs health system last year, more than five percent of veterans seeking care at the Wahlen Medical Center in Salt Lake City still have to wait at least a month to get in to see a doctor, new data shows.

On Thursday at 12:15 p.m., former Utah Office of Veterans Affairs director Terry Schow, Andrew Wilson of VeteranSuicidePrevention.org and Tribune reporter Nate Carlisle join Jennifer Napier-Pearce to talk about the backlog and ways to improve medical care for veterans.
