Actors, comedians, filmmakers and scientists will be deciding the award winners at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival.

Members of the festival's juries were announced Wednesday. Here they are:

U.S. Documentary Jury

• Diego Buñuel • French filmmaker, host of National Geographic Channel's "Don't Tell My Mother."

• Julie Goldman • Documentary producer, credits include "Life, Animated" and "Weiner."

• Robert Greene • Filmmaker and writer, directed the documentary "Kate Plays Christine."

• Susan Lacy • Creator of PBS' "American Masters" series; now head of Pentimento Productions.

• Larry Wilmore • Comedian and political commentator, former host of "The Nightly Show."

U.S. Dramatic Jury

• Gael García Bernal • Actor ("Mozart in the Jungle," "Desierto").

• Peter Dinklage • Actor ("Game of Thrones," "Elf," "The Station Agent").

• Jody Hill • Writer-director ("Eastbound & Down," "Vice Principals," "Observe and Report").

• Jacqueline Lyanga • Director of AFI Fest in Los Angeles.

• Jeannine Oppewall • Production designer ("L.A. Confidential," "Seabiscuit," "Rules Don't Apply").

World Cinema Dramatic Jury

• Nai An • Actress ("When Night Falls") and independent film producer in China.

• Sonia Braga • Actress ("Kiss of the Spider Woman," "Aquarius"), from Brazil.

• Athina Rachel Tsangari • Writer-director ("Attenberg"), from Greece.

World Cinema Dramatic Jury

• Carl Spence • Recently departed director of the Seattle International Film Festival.

• Marina Stavenhagen • Screenwriter ("Streeters") and film promoter, from Mexico.

• Lynette Wallworth • Artist and filmmaker, specializing in VR works ("Collisions"); from Australia.

Short Film Jury

• Shirley Kurata • Costume designer and wardrobe stylist.

• David Lowery • Director ("Ain't Them Bodies Saints," "Pete's Dragon").

• Patton Oswalt • Comedian, writer and actor ("Ratatouille," "Young Adult," "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.").

Alfred P. Sloan Feature Film Jury Prize

• Heather Berlin • Cognitive neuroscientist, psychiatry professor of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

• Tracy Drain • Flight systems engineer at Jet Propulsion Laboratory, deputy chief engineer for the Juno Mission.

• Nell Greenfieldboyce • Science correspondent for NPR.

• Nicole Perlman • Co-writer of "Guardians of the Galaxy."

• Jennifer Phang • Writer-director of "Advantageous" (SFF '15).
