Reminder: Individual tickets for films and events at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival go on sale to Utah residents Wednesday, starting at noon Mountain Standard Time.

The "Utah Locals" window is open through Thursday, at the Sundance website. Individual tickets for everyone else go on sale starting Tuesday, Jan. 17.

The rules for Utah residents are as follows:

• All sales are online only.

• Buyers must provide either a Utah driver's license or Utah state ID at time of ticket pickup. No refunds if the buyer cannot prove Utah residency.

• Maximum 20 tickets in total, and a limit of 4 per screening.

• Tickets are $25 for the first half of the festival (Jan. 19-24) in Park City, or $20 for all Salt Lake City screenings and for second-half screenings (Jan. 25-29) in Park City.
