Today's "Trailer of the Day" for the 2017 Sundance Film Festival is a very thin slice of Hamm.

The teaser for "Marjorie Prime" only provides a few seconds of "Mad Men" star Jon Hamm, playing a computer simulation of a person.

The movie — adapted from Jordan Harrison's play — is set in a future where a service can provide people holographic projections of deceased family members. The story follows a woman (Lois Smith, who played the part on stage) who spends time with a younger version of her late husband (played by Hamm).

The cast also includes Oscar winners Tim Robbins and Geena Davis. It is directed and written by Michael Almereyda, who has come to Sundance before with the vampire tale "Nadja" (1994), a modern "Hamlet" (2000), and the Stanley Milgram biography "Experimenter" (2015).
