Here are some of the deals that have been made over the weekend at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival:

• Amazon Studios has landed domestic rights to Kenneth Lonergan's drama "Manchester By the Sea." The drama, starring Casey Affleck as a man returning to his hometown to deal with his brother's death, was acclaimed after its premiere Saturday as a potential Oscar winer.

• Summit Entertainment has picked up "Indignation," director James Schamus' adaptation of Philp Roth's novel. It stars Logan Lerman as a Jewish student who goes from New Jersey to Ohio, and deals with anti-Semitism, sexual repression and the shadow of the Korean War.

• Sony Pictures Classics has picked up worldwide rights to director Meera Menon's drama "Equity." Billed as the first female-centric Wall Street movie, it stars Anna Gunn as an investment banker involved in a controversial IPO.

• A24 has acquired U.S. rights to "Morris From America," writer-director Chad Hartigan's comedy about a 13-year-old African-American boy (Markees Christmas) navigating adolescence in Germany.

• Lionsgate and Discovery Channels' Animal Planet have teamed up to get the U.S., Canadian and U.K. rights to "Million Dollar Duck." The documentary, which premiered at the Slamdance Film Festival, follows the artists who enter the Federal Duck Stamp Contest, the only art contest run by the U.S. government.
