Today's Sundance "trailer of the day" is a documentary of an event that has never happened — or so we think.
"The Visit" takes viewers inside the United Nations' Office for Outer Space Affairs — a real thing — as well as space and defense agencies around the world, to look at the possibility of humanity's first encounter with alien intelligent life.
"The Visit" is directed by Michael Madsen (no, not the guy from "Reservoir Dogs"), and will screen in the World Cinema Documentary competition of the 2015 Sundance Film Festival.
