They finally let me on Trib Talk this afternoon. We talked about the big stories of the year 2015, including the decision to move the state prison from Draper to the marshes near the Great Salt Lake in Salt Lake City.

It reminded me, of course, of a Monty Python bit. Reproduced above.

It's just amazing how often an old Python bit is a perfect accent to a conversation about Utah politics.

And I had completely forgotten that the name of the prince in this sketch is Herbert. Nobody names the king. But, in this context, he's Utah House Speaker Greg Hughes.
