Jordan's highly-successful football coach Eric Kjar is moving down the street. He accepted the head coaching position at Corner Canyon, which is situated in Region 7 with the Beetdiggers for competition from 2017-19, on Monday, the official Twitter account of Corner Canyon football announced.
Kjar was 69-29 in his eight seasons at Jordan, including leading the Beetdiggers to the 2012 Class 5A state championship, and is known as the orchestrator to some of the most prolific offenses in state history.
Kjar is well-known as a quarterback whisperer, as he's molded top signal callers on a yearly basis. Zach Wilson is already considered one of the top quarterbacks in the state for the Chargers, which has led to excitement in Draper about the two talents joining forces.
