Several local football programs continue to generate national attention.

After upsetting De La Salle (Calif.) on the road, East checked in at No. 14 in USA Today's national high school football poll. The Leopards are 5-0 and have won 14 consecutive games dating back to 2015.

Bingham is ranked No. 22 by the same publication. The Miners are also 5-0 while maintaining an average margin of victory of 35 points. MaxPreps has Bingham ranked No. 19 nationally and the Leopards are ranked No. 32.

Both teams are ranked first in their respected classifications by The Tribune, while Bingham has owned the No. 1 ranking in the statewide top 25, with East at No. 2, the entire season.

Bingham hosts Hunter (2-3) at home on Friday and East welcomes Bonneville (1-4). Both games are scheduled to kick at 7 p.m.
