MaxPreps has named Pleasant Grove senior Payton Henry as Utah's top returning baseball player for the upcoming spring season.

And with good reason.

The 6-3, 215-pound catcher, pitcher and third baseman record some amazing stats his junior year for the Vikings.

His batting average was .527 that include nine home runs and 46 RBIs. As a pitcher, he was 1-1 with an earned run average of .62.

Pleasant Grove, the defending 5A baseball champion, is expected to be among the favorites when play begins later in the year.
