MaxPreps put together an interesting computer ranking of the nation's top 25 high school teams that combines the final ranking of a school's basketball and football team from the 2010 to 2014 football season and the 2011-2015 basketball season.

Utah's Lone Peak High School came in at 25 and that was without this past football season where the Knights finished second in 5A.

In football, Lone Peak was ranked 319 in 2010, 77 in 2011, 379 in 2012, 529 in 2013 and 1,999 in 2014.

The Knights national basketball rankings were 21 in 2011, sixth in 2012, first in 2013, 12th in 2014 and 148 a year ago.

DeSoto, Texas, earned the top rank, while Las Vegas' Bishop Gorman, which has played Utah schools in basketball and football in recent seasons, was second.
