There are several local participants in the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl, which airs tonight at 7 p.m. on Fox Sports 1. The West team features East's Johnny Maea, Timpview's Keenan Pili and East coach Brandon Matich.

Maea is a 6-foot-5, 315-pound offensive lineman currently committed to Utah. He helped pave the way for the Leopards' explosive rushing attack, which amassed 5,765 yards on the ground and included two players who surpassed the 1,000-yard plateau.

Pili is listed as a 6-foot-2, 205-pound outside linebacker — his projected position at the collegiate level at BYU — but he played safety this season for the Thunderbirds, recording 70 tackles.

Matich, whose own program runs the triple-option, is coaching wide receivers for the West team. Matich guided East to its first state championship since 1996 this season, and he has a record of 54-22 in five seasons at East, and is 93-40 overall, including five seasons at Park City.
