BYU is buzzing right now. The Cougars continued to lock down the Beehive State with another in-state prospect committing late Wednesday evening.

Bountiful's three-star safety Max Tooley tweeted: "At this time, I'd like to announce my commitment to Brigham Young University! #GoCougs #ThisIsY #Rise Up"

Tooley maintained offers from California, Colorado, Nevada, Oregon State, Utah, Utah State and Washington State in addition to BYU according to numerous recruiting services.

Tooley, who recorded 55 tackles and four interception as a junior last season, is now the ninth local 2016 prospect currently committed to BYU, joining Skyler Southam (Wasatch), Keaton Torre (Bingham), Jaren Hall (Maple Mountain), Drew Jensen (Brighton), Atunaisa Mahe (West Jordan), Solofa Funa (Spanish Fork), Darius McFarland (Box Elder) and Britton Hogan (Olympus) according to Scout.
