The seasons of three popular Utah high school club sports will conclude in the next two weeks.

The state prep boys' rugby title will be decided this week with unbeaten and nationally-ranked Herriman going into Friday's semifinals at Murray Park as the favorite.

Olympus tests Herriman while East meets Snow Canyon. Both games are at 5 p.m. The title game is Saturday.

Herriman, which is ranked sixth nationally, has been invited to play in the national championships in Charlotte, N.C., where it will be seeded fourth.

The Herriman girls team will meet Orem Friday for the girls' state championship.

Meanwhile, the ultimate frisbee high school girls title will be decided this weekend at the Millcreek Activity Center at 4405 S. 1025 East. Games in pool play begin at 3:45 p.m. with the last games set at 7:15 p.m.

Teams from Lone Peak, Copper Hills, Salt Lake City, Cedar City, Sky View, Lone Peak, Timpview and Bingham will be competing.

Lacrosse, increasingly one of the more popular high school sports, has its Utah high school championships scheduled May 16 at Corner Canyon High in Draper.
