The Class 3A baseball tournament begins Saturday at home sites as far south as St. George and as far north as Garland.

League champions Pine View, Park City, Payson and Bear River earned the right to host the first two rounds of the double elimination tournament.

First and second round games in both winner and loser brackets will be played Saturday. The last three days of the tournament are scheduled May 14, 15 and 16 at Dixie State University in St. George.

First-round games see Pine View hosting Union at 12:30 p.m. and Stansbury playing Juab at Pine View at 9:30 a.m. Park City hosts Snow Canyon in a 12:30 contest, while Carbon tests Grantsville at 10 a.m. at Park City.

Payson hosts Tooele at 11 a.m. while Uintah and Cedar City battle at 10 a.m. at Spanish fork. Richfield travels to Bear River for a 10 a.m. game, followed by Desert Hills and Juan Diego.
