First-round 5A girls games set

The first-round pairings for the Class 5A girls' basketball tournament were released Friday. Here is the schedule for Monday's eight-game slate at Salt Lake Community College in Taylorsville:

9:30 a.m.: Alta 16-7 vs. Lone Peak 16-5

11:10 a.m.: Fremont 17-5 at West 6-15

12:50 p.m.: Hunter 16-6 vs. Davis 14-8

2:30 p.m.: American Fork 18-5 vs. Copper Hills 13-8

4:10 p.m.: Granger 14-7 vs. Viewmont 13-8

5:50 p.m.: Riverton 18-3 vs. Bingham 15-5

7:30 p.m.: Brighton 15-4 vs. Westlake 14-8

9:10 p.m.: Layton 14-5 vs. Taylorsville 11-10
