Utah high school drill team dynasties continued this weekend as drill teams competed in their state championships at Utah Valley University last weekend.

Duchesne kept up its domination of Class 1A by winning its 11th straight championship. The Eagles have never lost since the Utah High School Activities Association sanctioned the event in 2004, though they did tile for the 2005 title with Panguitch and Piute.

Piute and Monticello finished second and third in 1A

Bountiful captured its sixth straight 4A overall title. The Braves were followed by Maple Mountain and Logan.

In Class 5A, Copper Hills beat Bingham and Herriman to capture its third straight championship.

Uintah won its fourth straight Class 3A title followed by Dixie and Cedar City.

In Class 2A, South Sevier defended its title by holding off South Summit and Manti.
