Bingham's Dominieke Jones selflessly accepted his transfer to defensive back after playing receiver his entire life. The transition helped the Miners capture consecutive Class 5A championships, and ultimately created his opportunity to commit to the Air Force Academy.

"I didn't start playing defense until my sophomore year," Jones said. "To be where I am right now is unbelievable."

Jones, who also considered Army amongst his seven offers, recorded 53 tackles (27 solo) with three interceptions during his senior year, pushing his career totals to 103 tackles and five picks.

The two-star prospect plans on pursuing a degree in business management.

"It was something I could have for my future," Jones said of the Air Force education. "I knew that I would be taken care of."

Jones is the third Bingham player from the Class of 2015 to commit to a FBS program, joining linebacker Daniel Langi (Utah State) and kicker Chayden Johnston (Utah).
