While comparing scores is always a bit dangerous, Utah high school football appears to be strong compared to some surrounding states.

For example, Cherry Creek High School just captured the Colorado Class 5A football team. Jordan, a Utah team that lost 58-13 in the Class 5A quarterfinals to American Fork, defeated Cherry Creek 38-14 in Colorado on September 13.

Utah Class 5A champion Bingham is ranked 15th in MaxPreps most recent naitonal computer rankings, while Class 4A champion Timpview is 64th.
