Having spent equal time enjoying the afterglow of correctly picking USC's upset of Washington and agonizing about the Colorado-Washington State pick, I'm ready for a a full schedule of Pac-12 football Saturday. On to the picks:  Oregon at Utah, noon MST, Pac-12 Networks Ute coach Kyle Whittingham has done a good job this week of endorsing the Ducks' offense and deflecting questions about their defense. Regardless, it is mind-boggling to picture what Utah running back Joe Williams will be able to do against Oregon's makeshift defensive line. Utah 52, Oregon 28. Washington State at Colorado, 1:30 p.m. MST, Fox Amid the buildup to next week's Utah-Colorado game, it is very possible Colorado will be eliminated from Pac-12 championship game consideration. If the Buffaloes lose to WSU and USC beats UCLA, they would lose a potential tiebreaker with the Trojans. So their offense must respond against the Cougars, keeping up with WSU quarterback Luke Falk. He'll be missing star receiver River Cracraft, but has enough other targets for his offense to be as prolific as usual. Washington State 35, Colorado 28.  Stanford at California, 3:30 p.m. MST, Pac-12 Networks The Big Game is the one Pac-12 rivalry contest I would like to witness someday, while having no ties to either school. The Stanford band is being kept home from Berkeley by the school administration, but Christian McCaffrey will be there, and his performance should resemble Joe Williams' rushing effort in Salt Lake City. Stanford 42, California 28.  Arizona State at Washington, 5:30 p.m. MST, Fox The Huskies keep getting help in the College Football Playoff Standings, after their loss to USC last week. Washington stayed in contention at No. 6 this week, and then No. 5 Louisville was crushed by Houston on Thursday. So the Huskies are in decent shape, assuming they've bounced back from their USC showing. ASU should accommodate the recovery process. Washington 38, Arizona State 21.  USC at UCLA, 8:30 p.m. MST, ESPN By the look of things in Seattle, the Trojans really enjoyed their upset of Washington. Too much so? Maybe. They might be primed for a letdown at the Rose Bowl, and the Bruins have a season-saving opportunity. Even so, the Trojans should be able to overcome a slow start, if that happens. USC 31, UCLA 21.  Arizona at Oregon State, 8:30 p.m. MST, Pac-12 Networks Arizona showed some life against Colorado, even while eventually being routed. Oregon State keeps battling and is capable of winning its last two games. Nothing will come easily for the Beavers, considering they have one Pac-12 victory in two seasons, but they should get another one Saturday. Oregon State 28, Arizona 24.  – Kurt Kragthorpe
