Donald Trump may be a threat to rule of law. Gary Herbert and Orrin Hatch visit Bears Ears. Bernie Sanders goes for the whole enchilada.

Happy Friday. Legal scholars from across the political spectrum are worried that a Donald Trump presidency would be a step, maybe a large step, toward authoritarianism, with his calls for a ban on Muslims, restrictions on the press and his threats toward judges. [<a href="http://www.nytimes.com/2016/06/04/us/politics/donald-trump-constitution-power.html?hp&action=click&pgtype=Homepage&clickSource=story-heading&module=first-column-region&region=top-news&WT.nav=top-news"; target="_blank">NYTimes]

Topping the news: Gov. Gary Herbert and Sen. Orrin Hatch visit the site of the potential Bears Ears National Monument and say they oppose it, rather the Public Lands Initiative would do a better job of protecting Navajo land. [<a href="http://www.sltrib.com/news/3960906-155/herbert-and-hatch-visit-bears-ears"; target="_blank">Trib] [<a href="http://kutv.com/news/local/hatch-herbert-tour-site-of-proposed-bears-ears-national-monument"; target="_blank">KUTV] The idea for the monument, however, originally came from Native American tribes. -> Trump once again dived into racial politics, claiming a judge's ethnicity should be a disqualifier when it comes to ruling on his Trump University fraud case, because his Mexican heritage makes him biased against the candidate who wants to build a wall along the Mexican border.
