Romney records robocall for Rubio, says he'll help Cruz, Kasich, too. Senate kills on marijuana bill, passes more limited one. Jury rules against polygamist towns in lawsuit.

Happy Tuesday. Offering a much-needed boost for Sen. Marco Rubio, Mitt Romney has recorded get-out-the-vote calls for Rubio's presidential campaign that are being sent to voters in the four states voting on Tuesday. The calls could surely help in Idaho, a state rich with Mormon voters who are going to the polls today. -> Romney's aides note that the effort isn't an endorsement of Rubio and Romney is glad to help out other GOP candidates as long as they're not named Donald Trump. "Governor Romney has offered and is glad to help Senator Marco Rubio, Senator Ted Cruz, and Governor John Kasich in any way he can," an aide told us. "He's been clear that he believes that Donald Trump is not the best person to represent the Republican Party and will do what he can to support a strong nominee who holds conservative values to win back the White House."

Topping the news: A House committee killed Sen. Mark Madsen's medical marijuana bill, while sending a more limited approach from Sen. Evan Vickers to the House floor.
