Happy Thursday. The federal government is still up and running this morning after Congress narrowly avoided another shutdown by passing a last-minute spending bill. But Congress, being what it is, only kicked the can down the road a bit, so that threat of shuttered national parks, furloughed workers and limited services will be back in December.
