GOP chairman eye Clinton probes that could last until Election Day. Poll: Lee tops Hatch in Utah job approval. Interior secretary won't rule out a new monument.

Happy Friday. Plenty of GOP debate related news below but first an interesting story on how GOP chairmen of House and Senate committees are lining up with possible investigations into Hillary Clinton's time as secretary of state. The potential probes, including one by House Oversight and Government Reform Chairman Jason Chaffetz, could keep Clinton "answering questions until Election Day." Topping the news: A new poll shows Sen. Mike Lee enjoys wider job approval in Utah than his senior colleague, Orrin Hatch. Some 53 percent of Utahns strongly or somewhat approve of Lee's work while 48 percent give Hatch the same thumbs up.
