Ohio's Kasich may face the Jon Huntsman problem. Becker softens stance on sales tax hike. PAC helping Biskupski failed to register with SLC.

Happy Tuesday. Ohio Gov. John Kasich's run for president has already been compared to that of former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman's bid, notably for the fact that Kasich has hired some of Huntsman's ex-campaign aides. But Kasich may also share another distinction: He could be defined in his race, like Huntsman, more by his differences with the Republican Party than his conservative credentials. Such coverage helped doom Huntsman's effort, and could damage Kasich's, too.
