Gordon Hayward signed autographs and made a few public appearances Thursday.

Hayward spoke to the media Friday morning and quickly was wisked away to paint houses and do community service.

Yep. All-Star weekend has been a whirlwind for the Utah Jazz small forward.

"They take you from place to place pretty quickly," Hayward said.

The first 24 hours has been much of what Hayward has expected. He's recieved congratulations from fellow all-stars welcoming him to the club. He's hardly slept. His smile has been omnipresent.

Through it all, Hayward's been trying to soak in everything, even the interview process.

"I don't think I've ever seen as many reporters in the same place at once," Hayward said.

Hayward and the rest of the all-stars will practice Saturday morning. The Rising Stars challenge is Friday night, with Dante Exum and Trey Lyles representing the Jazz on the World Team.
