Minneapolis • Jazz point guard George Hill has been cleared to play tonight against the Minnesota Timberwolves after he passed the league's concussion protocol.

The veteran guard, who had been in the NBA's concussion protocol since taking an elbow to the face on New Year's Eve, participated in the team's morning shootaround at Target Center — the last stage of the league-mandated protocol for returning to play. Hill also has 21 stitches in his bottom lip as a result of that elbow.

This is the first time this season the team has had all of its players off the injury report and available to play.
