Utah Jazz point guard George Hill has been exceptional in his brief, but growing stint with the team.

How good has he been? On Monday, the NBA named Hill the Western Conference Player of the Week.

In four games last week, Hill averaged 20.8 points, 5.8 assists and 3.8 rebounds per game. He shot almost 59 percent from the field, and made 11-20 of his 3-point shots. Mostly without Gordon Hayward — Utah's best player came back on Sunday for a win against the New York Knicks — Hill led the Jazz offense, making multiple big shots, and playing at a career-high level.

Utah went 3-1 during the week, including a significant road win against the San Antonio Spurs, and a home win over the Dallas Mavericks. Against the Knicks on Sunday, Hill scored 23 points, and handed out nine assists without turning the ball over.

Hill, whom the Jazz acquired in a trade over the offseason, has scored 20 points or more four times this season, with the Jazz winning all four times.

However, Hill is considered questionable for tonight's game against the Philadelphia 76ers with a sprained thumb he suffered on Sunday in a collision with Knicks point guard Derrick Rose.

The Jazz will be playing the second game of a five game trip tonight in Philadelphia.
