When last we saw Rodney Hood, the Utah Jazz shooting guard was walking back to the locker room after being ejected from Wednesday night's game against the New York Knicks. But you can expect Hood to be back on the court for the Jazz again Friday.

According to the Jazz, the NBA has confirmed that Hood's ejection will be the extent of his punishment for a flagrant-2 foul in the fourth quarter against the Knicks.

No suspension. No fine.

Check out above the foul that sent Hood to the locker room early.

With the Jazz up big late in the game, Hood turned the ball over leading to a fast-break for New York's Sasha Vujacic — one that Hood put an end to with an unnecessary hip check that sent Vujacic into the stanchion.

The Jazz will need Hood on Friday against the Oklahoma City Thunder — and they will especially need him to get his jump shot back online.

Hood is shooting just 29 percent from 3-point territory this season, after knocking down 36.5 percent of his attempts last season as a rookie. Against the Knicks, Hood went 2-for-7 from the floor, missing all four of his shots from behind the arc.
