So what do the Jazz want to see out of Neto? He's proven he can make an impact in short spurts, like he did against the Lakers. But it's harder to be effective with more minutes. And also, Neto won't be playing against Jabari Brown or Lou Williams - aka bench guys. He'll be playing against Brandon Knight and Eric Bledsoe - aka top end starting guards in the NBA. So the Jazz are interested to see what kind of adjustment Neto can make against a jump in competition.

Also, Neto will be playing with starters tonight, which is also an adjustment. Either way, Neto was impressive in spurts against the Lakers. He'll have a much bigger role and more scrutiny tonight.

The Jazz are experiencing a bit of fatigue and the effects of a long road trip, even if that trip was to lovely Hawaii. They didn't land in Phoenix until late Thursday night, and jumped up for shootaround on Friday morning. Thus, they are treating the trip like and back-to-back and are expected to take at least one day off this upcoming weekend. The Jazz make their preseason home debut on Monday against the Portland Trailblazers. They then get the rest of the week before playing at Portland next Sunday.

Trevor Booker spoke to the media for the first time since being ejected on Tuesday night for striking Los Angeles Lakers center Roy Hibbert in the face during an altercation. Booker was suspended one game by the NBA and will serve that suspension by sitting out Utah's regular season opener against the Detroit Pistons.
