Utah Jazz coach Quin Snyder finished eighth in Coach of the Year voting after his team's second-half surged helped garner him a handful of third-place votes from the press. Snyder's former boss, Atlanta coach Mike Budenholzer, won the award with 67 first-place votes. Golden State's Steve Kerr finished second and Milwaukee's Jason Kidd finished third. Snyder received one second-place vote from Atlanta play-by-play man Bob Rathbun and four third-place votes from Michigan reporter David Mayo, the Deseret News' Jody Genessy, ESPN.com's Kevin Arnovitz, and Jazz broadcaster Ron Boone.  Final voting results: Mike Budenholzer, Atlanta — 513 total points Steve Kerr, Golden State — 471 Jason Kidd, Milwaukee — 57 Brad Stevens, Boston — 50 Gregg Popovich, San Antonio — 38 Kevin McHale, Houston — 13 Tom Thibodeau, Chicago — 10 Quin Snyder, Utah — 7 David Blatt, Cleveland — 3 Doc Rivers, L.A.
