It's April 1 and, with just eight games left to go in the NBA season, just about every part of Derrick Favors hurts. "My eyes hurt. My head hurt. That's just stuff you have to deal with in an NBA season," Favors said Wednesday morning. Jazz fans, however, will be happy to learn that Favors' back hurts considerably less than it did when he had to miss the team's last two games with spasms. "I feel a lot better," said Favors, who is listed as probable to play tonight against the Denver Nuggets. "I went through shootaround, got treatment. My backed loosened up a lot." The Jazz will wait until closer to tipoff to make a final decision on Favors' availability, but so far the signs are positive. "He looked good [during shootaround]," coach Quin Snyder said. "I think it's been mainly getting the swelling out and the tightness out of his back. He's been getting treatment and everything, so hopefully he won't have a reaction in some way to this morning." Rookie forward Rodney Hood, who was diagnosed with a concussion after being hit in the head by an elbow Monday night in Minnesota, did not go through shootaround as he undergoes the league's return-to-participation protocol. — Aaron Falk
