Minneapolis • Derrick Favors finished Monday morning's shootaround on the court at Target Center, participating in a team shooting competition.

Whether the Jazz power forward will be back on that court tonight remains to be seen.

Favors has officially been listed as questionable to play in tonight's game against the Timberwolves. Back spasms limited him last week in Denver and kept him out of Saturday night's showdown with Oklahoma City.

"I think he's better," Jazz coach Quin Snyder said Monday morning. "But we still don't know. He's trying to see how he feels after shootaround. He'll warm up tonight and we'll see how he is."

The Jazz were without swingman Gordon Hayward a week ago when the Timberwolves were in Salt Lake City. Minnesota rookie Zach LaVine helped force overtime with a pair of clutch 3-pointers late in the game and the Wolves went on to win 106-104.

"Hopefully we can really come out tonight and be aggressive defensively from the start and not let them get going," Hayward said. "Because they do have a lot of talent on their team, so if they can feel good and start to feel like [they] can definitely win this, it's going to be a different game."
