And the name is a familiar one, even if the face isn't.
According to NBA sources, the Jazz will bring Elijah Millsap on board, perhaps as early as Monday. He's the younger brother of former Jazzman Paul Millsap, now an all-star forward for the surging Atlanta Hawks.
The younger Millsap is no stranger to Utah, having lived in Salt Lake City with his brothers and family for most of Paul Millsap's duration with the organization. Elijah Millsap was a standout with the University of Alabama-Birmingham. He went undrafted and has split time between the D-League and overseas.
He's a different player than his brother. He's not as big, 6-foot-5, and is a shooting guard, rather than a power forward.
But he rebounds like his brother, he's tough like his brother and carries around the same kind of quiet confidence.
It will be interesting to see what he can bring to the Jazz.
