Derrick Favors traveled with the Jazz to Washington, D.C., Saturday a day after spraining his right ankle against the Miami Heat.

Favors jumped to block a shot with about 2 minutes to play in the first quarter Friday against the Heat and landed awkward. He was slow to get off the ground before limping to the locker room.

X-rays on Favors' ankle were negative, but he left the arena with a walking boot on his foot. So the fact that he traveled at all is a positive sign. Officially, however, he is listed as questionable to play Sunday evening against the Wizards.

If he were to a miss time, it would be a major blow for the Jazz. Favors is averaging 15.6 points and 8 rebounds a game. Utah went 0-9 with Favors out of the lineup last season and are 0-1 without his services so far this year.
