The 11th annual Wasatch Intermountain Fly Tying and Fly Fishing Expo returns to the South Towne Expo Center in Sandy on Friday and Saturday.

The event, which is supported by Trout Unlimited and the Federation of Fly Fishers, is for fly fishing enthusiasts of all skill levels and ages.

It features seminars, casting presentations, fly tying experts and retail booths.

The event runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. Admission is $10 for adults (or $8 if purchased online), with kids 15 and younger free. Each entrance fee includes three general raffle tickets and an entry for a guided fly-fishing trip for two.

The expo will host more than 90 vendors, 100 fly tiers, a casting competition, a two-day women's event, youth programs, open classes and seminars.

The Adventure Theater will allow vendors representing outfitters and lodges to showcase their offerings.

Panel discussions will include fishing for steelhead, fishing the Green River, Utah's Blue Ribbon Fisheries and the Utah Cutthroat Slam.

"There are great fishing expos all around the Intermountain West but we pride this show on having a healthy balance of local information in addition to some of the best outfitters and fly-fishing experts from around the world," said Jack Dennis, event host and general chairman. "Fly fishers from novice to expert can learn about fly fishing in Utah's Wasatch Mountains as well as have several chances to see what other areas of the world offer great fly fishing for our attending anglers."
