Snowbasin Resort will hold its Winter Carnival Saturday with an emphasis on family activities.

The event, which begins at 10 a.m. with a social media scavenger hunt on the mountain for prizes, will end with fireworks and night skiing on Little Cat.

Magical Celebrations will be performing Princess and Star Wars Shows every hour between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. in Earls Lodge.

The Australian Aerialist Ski Team The Flying Kangaroos will be signing autographs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Earl's Plaza.

Earl's Plaza will also be the site of face painting, balloon making and a magician from 1 to 6 p.m. Pre-teens can try to set the fastest time on the mini cross course on Little Cat from 2 to 4 p.m.

The Outer Vibe will play live music starting at 3:30 p.m.

Skiing should also be good at Snowbasin, which has received a heavy amount of snow in recent days.
