As the Christmas season approaches, several Utah state parks around the state have scheduled some holiday events that could be of interest to families.

Fantasy at the Bay Christmas lights will begin Friday at Willard Bay and run through December 31. The event includes a drive through a fantasy of lights, music, food, 3D snowflake glasses and a visit with Santa on the weekends. Admission is $10 Monday through Thursday and $15 Friday through Sunday.

The Frontier Homestead Christmas Market will be held December 2 and 3 at Frontier Homestead State Park in Cedar City. It will feature handcrafted gift items. Admission is $1 per person.

That Cedar City park will also hold events December 5 through December 9 featuring local entertainment, crafts, treats and nightly appearances from Santa. The event is open from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Admission is $5.

Santa will pay a visit to the Fielding Garr Ranch at Antelope Island from noon to 3 p.m. on December 17. There will also be stories and activities for the children.
