Conde Nast Traveler readers have named Park City as the friendliest city in America.

The Utah resort city is highlighted in the slideshow titled "The 2015 Friendliest and Unfriendliest Cities in the U.S." on CNTraveler.com, a site that reaches more than 2.6 million travel enthusiasts.

Conde Nast praised Park City as a"great place that brings city life to outdoor enthusiasts, film geeks and families" and for its hip culture, party atmosphere and tons of history.

Conde Nast Traveler readers also ranked Park City seventh among the list of the 30 best small cities in America.

Park City Chamber/Burea officials were quick to share the news.

"We are equally pleased and proud that our community is being recognized by the readers of Conde Nast Traveler as the friendliest city in the United States," said Bill Malone, president and CEO of the Park City Chamber/Bureau. "There appears to be a strong correlation between beautiful towns and great hospitality, and the readers' votes reflect that."

Each year, Conde Nast Traveler surveyes its readers to help select the world's top hotels, resorts and mountains. Conde Nast Traveler will continue to release the results of this year's Readers' Choice Awards through the fall, with full results published in the November 2015 print edition of the magazine.
