Ryan Mosley, Flaming Gorge Project Leader for the Utah Divison of Wildlife Resources, sent in this report from the second day of spring netting at Flaming Gorge.

Not a lot of change in day 2, but some minor exceptions. We collected some larger smallmouth bass today, most of which were females. UDWR technician Brent Leite poses with a chunky 3.5 lb female which we were able to release after a quick length, weight, and photo. Bass of this caliber in Flaming Gorge are well over 10-years old and we enjoyed the shower it gave us as it darted away from the boat!
