Best known for his films with Martin Scorsese ("GoodFellas," "The Last Temptation of Christ," "The Departed" and others), Ballhaus also famously worked with Rainer Werner Fassbender ("The Marriage of Maria Braun"), as well as the films "Broadcast News," "The Fabulous Baker Boys," "Postcards from the Edge," "Bram Stoker's Dracula," "Quiz Show," "Air Force One" and "Something's Gotta Give."
