EVE Winter Fest continues tonight and Saturday, with events around downtown Salt Lake City to usher in the new year. Adult passes are $20 for one day, $25 for multple days, at the EVE website.

• Punk/metal Iceburn performs tonight at The Urban Lounge, 241 S. 500 East, Salt Lake City. Opening: The Ditch & The Delta, Visitors. Show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10, at Ticketfly.

• Funk legend George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic perform tonight at The Depot, 400 W. South Temple, Salt Lake City. Opening: Talia Keys. Show starts at 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $40, at Smith's Tix.

• Genre-stretching bluegrass band Head For the Hills performs tonight at The State Room, 638 S. State St., Salt Lake City. Opening: Six Feet in the Pine. Show starts at 9 p.m. Tickets are $20, at Ticketfly.

• The Utah Jazz takes on the Phoenix Suns in NBA action, Saturday at Vivint Smart Home Arena, 301 W. South Temple, Salt Lake City. Game starts at 6 p.m. Tickets available at Smith's Tix.

• Scottish actor/singer Alan Cumming performs his musical act, Saturday at the Eccles Center, 1750 Kearns Blvd., Park City. Show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets, from $49 to $189, at the venue's website.

• Colorado jam band Leftover Salmon rings in the new year, Saturday at The Depot, 400 W. South Temple, Salt Lake City. Show start at 9 p.m. Tickets are $40 in advance, $45 on the day of the show, at Smith's Tix.

Detox, one of the stars from "RuPaul's Drag Race," headlines a New Year's Eve show at Metro Music Hall, 615 W. 100 South, Salt Lake Ckty. Show starts at 9 p.m. Tickets are $15 (or $30 for a meet-and-greet), at Ticketfly and Smith's Tix and 24Tix.
