The Grateful Dead is gone, but the music remains — as do some of the band's members, who are going on tour next summer with a stop in Utah.

Dead & Company have announced a 15-city, 19-date tour next summer — starting May 27 in Las Vegas and ending with two shows, June 30 and July 1, in Chicago's Wrigley Field. The tour also will hit some of The Grateful Dead's iconic venues, including Fenway Park in Boston and Folsom Field in Boulder, Colo.

In between, the band will play Wednesday, June 7, at Usana Amphitheatre in West Valley City.

Dead & Company is led by three members of The Grateful Dead: singer-guitarist Bob Weir and drummers Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann. Also in the band: singer-guitarist John Mayer (yes, that John Mayer), bassist Oteil Burbridge (formerly of the Allman Brothers Band) and keyboard player Jeff Chimenti (from Weir's band RatDog).

The band will play two full sets, drawing from the massive catalog of The Grateful Dead's music.

Tickets for the Usana show, from $40 to $149.50, go on sale Friday, Dec. 9, at 10 a.m. at Smith's Tix.
