Salt Lake City radio listeners will have a choice for the holidays after all.

On Thanksgiving, Broadway Media-owned country station 101.5 The Eagle switched over to a format of Christmas music. Of course, since a lot of country acts have recorded Christmas albums over the years, the change won't be too jarring to listeners.

This means KSFI-FM, better known as FM100.3, won't have the holiday field to itself. The station, owned by the LDS Church's Bonneville International, kicked off its traditional Christmas playlist on Nov. 17.

Last year, Broadway Media played Christmas music on The Eagle's simulcast frequency, 105.1 FM. Since then, the signal on 105.1 got a boost, and Broadway moved its pop formatted station, now Mix 105.1, to that spot on the dial.
