Comedian Gabriel Iglesias is marking 20 years of stand-up next year with a major arena tour — including a stop in Salt Lake City.

The comic who has earned the nickname "Fluffy" will bring his tour, "Gabriel Iglesias FluffyMania World Tour: 20 Years of Comedy," to the Vivint Smart Home Arena on Saturday, April 22, 2017.

Iglesias' sixth hourlong comedy special, "I'm Sorry For What I Said When I Was Hungry," will be released on Dec. 20 on Netflix. His series for Fuse TV, "Fluffy Breaks Even," will launch its third season next year. He also will lend his voice to two animated films in 2017: "Smurfs: The Lost Village" and "The Nut Job 2."

Tickets for Iglesias' show at The Viv — priced from $35 to $70 — go on sale Friday, 10 a.m., at Smith's Tix.
